This release focuses on enhanced tracking and observability of survey responses, along with compatibility updates for the ServiceNow Australia release.
New fields
- Source portal - New field to track which Service Portal the feedback response originated from, enabling analytics and reporting per portal
- Survey context - Stores an immutable snapshot of the data passed to HappySignals along with the survey response
Menu items
- Script-based settings menu - New application menu item providing access to script-based configuration options for administrators
Improvements
- Dynamic app version fetching - Integration now dynamically retrieves the application version instead of using hardcoded values, ensuring version information stays accurate across updates
Australia release compatibility
- Widget utils wrapper - Added wrapper module for widgets to access shared utilities, addressing compatibility requirements for the ServiceNow Australia release
- Cross-scope accesses - Added missing cross-scope privilege records required for proper functionality in the Australia release
Security / ACLs
- Survey context field ACLs - Added granular field-level ACLs for the survey context table to control read/write access to sensitive context data
