You can request HappySignals Customer Success to enable a consent option in surveys, allowing users to choose whether they can be contacted about their feedback
Customers can request HappySignals Customer Success to enable an option requiring employees to consent to being contacted about their feedback (both ticket-based and proactive surveys).
How it works

The consent option applies to all experience surveys.

Users are asked for consent on the last page of the survey with the open comment field.

By default the user can't be contacted.
- Consent only applies to a specific survey response.
Where the choice made is visible

Feedback Page: On the response card, a row shows “Can be contacted: Yes/No.”

Excel Exports & API: The consent status is included when responses are downloaded or accessed via API, following the same logic.
If consent is not required at the point of response, it is treated as implicit permission, and “Yes” is recorded.
