How we process personal data in the HappySignals platform
In short: We process a minimal amount of personal data, and only for authentication purposes. It is not possible to identify a survey responder using only the data stored in the HappySignals platform.
The HappySignals platform has two distinct user groups:
-
Employees responding to surveys
-
Administrators analyzing the data
HappySignals does not collect or process any personal data from employees who respond to surveys.
HappySignals does process a minimal amount of personal data from administrators. This is solely for authentication and access role management within the HappySignals platform.
What happens to the data when an employee answers a survey?
We save the survey feedback data in the HappySignals platform. The platform analyzes and processes both survey and ticket data to generate dashboards, reports, and insights for your organization’s administrators.
Typical feedback data stored in the HappySignals platform may include, for example:
-
Incident number
-
Assignment group
-
Contact channel
-
Reassignment count
-
Contact language
-
Office location
-
Various other data categories
The exact data categories are always agreed upon with customers during the environment setup.
Is the survey response data anonymous?
Yes. It is not possible to identify an individual survey responder using only the data stored in the HappySignals platform.
Can an employee still be identified?
We use ticket IDs as identifiers. If certain individuals have access to both the HappySignals platform and the ticket data in the organization’s ITSM tool, it may be possible for them to identify a survey responder by combining data from both sources.
